Pupil Gifts By Ben Nardolilli

Making me illusions, the eyes
Open and control the fresh field
Of sight, giving me all
The lines and colors I need.

Two directors sharing one editor,
They work in combination,
Rarely blinking to argue
Over what is best to look at.

Up ahead, they make observations
When I look through the rain,
Leaving me the option
To see a curtain of beads instead.
